Refund & Cancellation Policy

By purchasing, subscribing to, or otherwise using any Solarius product or service ("Services"), you agree to the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy. This policy applies to all transactions involving Solarius B.V. ("Solarius") unless superseded by a product-specific agreement.

General Terms

Solarius provides clear information regarding pricing, billing cycles, and service features prior to purchase. We are committed to transparency and fairness in resolving billing issues.

Subscription Billing

Unless otherwise specified, all Solarius Services are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account, including applicable taxes and fees.

Billing terms are disclosed during checkout and in your billing dashboard. You may change your billing cycle or payment method at any time through your account settings.

Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.

  • Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • You will continue to have access to your subscription until the end of the paid period.
  • No further charges will occur after cancellation is confirmed.

We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused time or features unless otherwise specified.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are generally not provided, except in the following situations:

  • Billing error: You were charged incorrectly due to a system error or duplicate charge.
  • Service outage: Extended downtime (beyond 48 hours) not caused by your actions or third-party dependencies.
  • Technical inaccessibility: You were unable to access a paid feature despite meeting all system requirements and cooperating with support to resolve the issue.
  • Consumer protection laws: You are located in a jurisdiction with mandatory refund laws (e.g., EU 14-day withdrawal right for digital services not yet used).

We reserve the right to deny refund requests for Services that have already been substantially used or accessed.

To request a refund, contact billing@solarius.me within 14 days of the charge with the following:

  • Your account email and billing reference (e.g., invoice number)
  • Description of the issue
  • Supporting evidence, if applicable

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Solarius may result in account suspension or termination.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact billing@solarius.me before contacting your payment provider.

Solarius reserves the right to recover chargeback fees and may involve a third-party collections process for disputed amounts improperly reversed.

Product-Specific Terms

Certain Services or enterprise contracts may include separate cancellation or refund terms. Those terms take precedence over this policy if they conflict.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Services for violation of our Terms of Service or non-payment. In such cases:

  • You are not entitled to a refund.
  • Your access may be revoked immediately.
  • Outstanding balances may still be due.

Exceptional cases of termination due to our error or service failure may be eligible for a refund, subject to review.

Changes to This Policy

We may update these terms with 30 days notice (email or in-platform notification). Continued use constitutes acceptance.
