Asterune provides flexible, granular graphics settings designed to give you full control over how your experience looks and performs.
Presets
- Low – Max performance for low-end systems
- Medium – Balanced visuals and performance
- High – Enhanced visuals for modern hardware
- Ultra – Maximum detail, shadows, and effects
- Custom – Full manual control
These preseets are designed to give you a quick way to adjust your graphics settings based on your hardware capabilities. You can always fine-tune individual settings for even more control.
Core settings
Rendering Quality
- Controls overall fidelity scaling
- Ranges from 1 (lowest) to 10 (ultra high)
Resolution Scale
- Adjusts internal render resolution (50–100%)
- Lower values increase performance
V-Sync
- Prevents screen tearing
- On/Off or Adaptive
Frame Rate Cap
- Options: 30, 60, 120, Unlimited
- Limits maximum frames per second
Visual detail
Shadow Quality
- Off / Low / Medium / High / Ultra
- Affects shadow sharpness and distance
Lighting Quality
- Affects real-time global illumination and dynamic lights
Texture Quality
- Low / Medium / High / Ultra
- Impacts surface detail clarity
Model Detail
- Changes LOD distances and polygon detail for 3D models
Terrain Detail
- Controls terrain mesh complexity and shader quality
Effects
Anti-Aliasing
- Options: None, FXAA, SMAA, TAA
- Smooths jagged edges
Ambient Occlusion
- Adds soft shadows where objects meet
- SSAO, HBAO+, or Off
Bloom
- Adds glow to bright areas
- Adjustable intensity
Motion Blur
- Adds blur during fast movement
- Can be toggled or customized
Depth of Field
- Controls background blur for cinematic focus
- Adjustable or off
Post-Processing Quality
- Adjusts quality of post-processing effects
- Low / Medium / High
