Connect third-party apps to Solarius
Solarius Identity allows you to securely connect external apps and services to your Solarius account or workspace. Whether you're integrating developer tools, automation platforms, or identity providers, this guide will help you get started.
What are third-party apps?
Third-party apps are external services that interact with Solarius APIs or platforms using OAuth, API keys, or other integration methods. These apps can enhance your workflow by providing additional functionality.
You can review and manage these connections from your Solarius Identity dashboard.
How to connect third-party apps
- Log in to your Solarius Identity account at id.solarius.me.
- Go to the "Connected Apps" section in your account settings.
- Click "Add New App" to start the connection process, or follow the specific instructions provided by the third-party app you want to connect.
- Authorize the app by granting the necessary permissions. This may involve:
- Logging in to the third-party service
- Confirming the permissions requested by the app
- Once authorized, the app will appear in your "Connected Apps" list.
- You can manage the app's permissions or disconnect it at any time from this section.
Once connected, the app can access your Solarius data according to the permissions you granted. Always review these permissions to ensure they align with your privacy preferences.
Solarius may review third-party apps for security and compliance. If an app is found to violate our policies, it may be removed from your account.
Common third-party integrations
Solarius supports a variety of third-party integrations, including:
- GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket for version control
- Slack and Discord for team communication
- Zapier and Integromat for automation
- Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 for productivity tools
- Identity providers like Okta and Auth0 for SSO
- Payment processors like Stripe and PayPal for billing
- Analytics tools like Google Analytics and Mixpanel for tracking
There are over 160 supported third-party integrations available in Solarius. Explore the full list in your account settings.
Revoking access
If you ever need to revoke access to a third-party app:
- Go to the "Connected Apps" section in your Solarius Identity account.
- Find the app you want to disconnect.
- Click "Revoke Access" and confirm the action.
Revoking access does not delete any previously transferred data. Check the app's own settings to manage historical records.
Security considerations
Only connect third-party apps that you trust and that have a good reputation. Review the permissions requested by each app carefully. If an integration is behaving unexpectedly, revoke access immediately and contact help@solarius.me to report the issue.
